The Uneducated God
This site is dedicated to Ramakrishna Paramhansa (the only person in the history of the world to have practised all the three religions of Hinduism, Christianity and Islam in one life time and who gifted the world with that wonderful brain of Swami Vivekananda who dazzled the world with the profound knowledge of Advaita(The Power to Realise God through Self Enquiry)
Ramakrishna Paramhansa disliked going to school and so he never studied. According to him education and knowledge were two entirely different things. He strongly felt that education did not provide the means and opportunity to realize God through direct perception.
He loved Nature and spent his time in fields and fruit gardens outside the village with his friends. Now and then, he went into ecstasies. A line of white cranes against black monsoon clouds, singing religious songs or acting in a religious drama sent him to ecstasies.
This website is not connected to any religion. People from all religions are welcome. This site will focus on some of the greatest and most profound knowledge of Self-enquiry taught by the greatest teachers who cared for humanity. Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Yogananda, J Krishnamurthi, Shri Aurobindo, Shri Ramana Maharishi and a few more…..
Praise for Swami Vivekananda
I cannot touch these sayings of his… without receiving a thrill through my body like an electric shock. And what shocks, what transports must have been produced when in burning words they were issued from the lips of the hero
Romain Rolland,Nobel Prize Winner in Literature: 1915
To ask you , Swami, for credentials is like asking the sun to state its right to shine. You are more learned than all our learned professors put together.
J.H.Wright, Professor , Harvard University
He is undoubtedly the greatest figure in the Parliament of Religions. After hearing from him we feel how foolish it is to send missionaries to this learned nation.
The New York Herald
Vivekananda’s address before the Parliament was broad as the heaven above us….. If he merely crosses the platform he is applauded… At the Parliament of Religions they used to keep Vivekananda until the end of the programme to make people stay till the end of the session….. The four thousand fanning people in the Hall of Columbus would sit smiling and expectant waiting for an hour or two to listen to Vivekananda for fifteen minutes. The Chairman knew the old rule of keeping the best until the last.
